ADD/ADHD

The symptoms of ADHD consist of distraction and/or hyperactivity and impulsivity. These are a series of characteristics that a lot of children exhibit at some time or another. However to determine a diagnosis of ADHD, occasionally known as Attention Deficit Disorder or ADD, the signs and symptoms should be inappropriate for the child’s age.

Adults may also have ADHD; in reality, almost half of adults clinically determined to have the condition had it as children. When ADHD continues into the adult years, symptoms can vary. For example, an adult may suffer restlessness rather than hyperactivity. Furthermore, adults with ADHD frequently have difficulties with social/personal relationships and employment.
